A new Hatsune Miku: Project Diva game has come to Japan, and that means a chance for people in the region to give it Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA MEGA39’s a try before they buy it. People in the region (or with Japanese eShop accounts) can now grab the demo and test out two songs and see three Hatsune Miku outfit modules. (Editor’s Note: This game will be known as Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix in the west.)
There are only two songs in the Hatsune Miku Switch demo. One is “Romeo to Cinderella” by doriko. It has appeared in multiple entries in the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva series, like Hatsune Miku: Project Diva 2nd and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd. The other track available is Pinocchio-P’s “Common World Domination.” It is also a returning track and appeared in games like Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2. They are playable at the Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties, and the standard and gyro control options are available.
Three different modules, which are costumes, are available in the Hatsune Miku Switch demo. Both are also returning outfits that were paired with the songs “Romeo to Cinderella” and “Common World Domination” before. That means you have the standard Miku attire, the Vintage Dress module, and the Arifure Miku outfit. (The Vintage Dress module even had a Max Factory figure based on it!)
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix is immediately available in Japan on the Nintendo Switch as Hatsune Miku -Project DIVA MEGA39‘s and will appear outside of Japan in 2020. The demo is immediately available on the Japanese eShop.
