Ishi Sengoku-den Sadame is a downloadable Nintendo 3DS game being developed by Mebius, the Japanese studio that remade Steel Empire for the portable. The game is a top-down action RPG, and publisher Intergrow recently released gameplay footage.
The two characters you see above are the ninja and samurai, and it’s apparent right away that they play fairly differently from one another. Ishi Sengoku-den Sadame has a system whereby, if you have two or more save files, the other character you’ve played as will show up as an NPC in your current game.
Intergrow are known for publishing games such as SteamWorld Dig and Mighty Switch Force in Japan. In 2013, the publisher teased “Project S” with an English press release. Project S turned out to be this game, so Intergrow clearly hope to release it in the West at some point in time.
