Fortnite is a western game by Epic Games, but its reach means other series get pulled in. While there aren’t many anime series represented yet, Shonen Jump skins have started appearing, and all anime skins in Fortnite look great. Here’s a full list of every anime series in the game.
Table of contents
All Fortnite anime crossovers so far.
All anime skins in Fortnite belong to certain franchises. This is because they appear in crossover events. These are often also tied to battle passes, so you may need to play (instead of pay) to get access to certain skins and items.
Attack on Titan
In April 2023, Attack on Titan found its way into Fortnite. Eren, Levi, and Mikasa skins appeared, as did other cosmetics. People could find Thunder Spears and ODM Gear to use, which could even be used against Titans. Anvil Square also added Jaeger’s Family Basement to explore.
Dragon Ball Super
The Dragon Ball Super Fortnite crossover was a big deal, with skins and items inspired by the anime around. As part of the update, four skins in particular appeared. Of course, Goku and Vegeta showed up. So did the classic Kamehameha. People could also dress up as Beerus or Bulma. Finally, there was a Kitoun flying cloud to ride around on. Then in January 2023, Gohan and Piccolo from Dragon Ball Super appeared in a second collaboration. Villains like Frieza and Cell also appeared in the shop on Christmas Eve 2023. On August 9, 2024, Android 17, Android 18, and Future Trunks skins appeared in the Fortnite Shop to build on the anime collaboration.
Jujutsu Kaisen
In August 2023, Epic announced that Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Satoru Gojo would join the game. People would be able to dress up as the characters to make them their avatars.
My Hero Academia
The My Hero Academia Fortnite collab showed up before 2022 ended, and again it brought four characters to the game. This time, each one is a notable hero and main character from the title. As far as students go, people could dress up in skins based on Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, Ochaco “Uravity” Uraraka, Katsuki “Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight” Bakugo. The only teacher character who appeared was All Might. In September 2023, Shoto “Todoroki, Eijiro “Sturdy Hero: Red Riot” Kirishima, and Mina “Pinky” Ashido also joined the roster. The run continued in May 2024. That’s when we got to see some villains finally join the party. The League of Villain members Dabi, Himiko Toga, and Tomura Shigaraki debuted as skins.
Naruto
Naruto anime skins appeared not once, but twice in Fortnite. The first time happened in Chapter 2. That’s when the Team 7 characters Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi showed up in-game. Then in Chapter 3, another batch appeared. That time, people could pick up new looks inspired by Gaara, Hinata, Itachi, and Orochimaru. So far, it’s the only series to get two collabs in-game.
How do I get former Fortnite Battle Pass exclusive anime items and skins?
Epic announced a new initiative on August 7, 2024! In the event you missed a certain Battle Pass, you will start to see those items appear in the Fortnite Shop after a minimum of 18 months. The catch being that when they do appear, you need to pay (instead of play) to get them.
So let’s use Attack on Titan as an example. For that anime crossover, Eren was a part of the Battle Pass. That collaboration happened in April 2023. That means we probably wouldn’t see it appear in the Fortnite Shop until sometime in October 2024, at the very minimum.
Fortnite is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
