The social media account for Stellar Blade announced new modes, costumes, and changes are on the horizon in a patch that brings it up to version 1.003. The new patch will come out on May 24, 2024.
Here is the full list of changes and additions that’ll be in the new Stellar Blade patch:
- A new “Boss Challenge” mode which will let you fight defeated bosses in multiple settings
- “Neurolink Suit” will be a new outfit that you get after defeating all of the bosses in Boss Challenge mode
- Two new Stellar Blade costumes that make EVE look like a kunoichi will be available from Adam’s safehouse
- Bugs such as unplayable sections, events not triggering, and trophies not being awarded will be fixed
- New auto-lock-on option when exiting ranged mode
- New option to always show compass in HUD
- Longer time limit for puzzles
- QOL improvements to the controls and balance
Here is how the new Stellar Blade costumes will look:
Boss Challenge will feature the 19 bosses from the base game and you can fight them on Hard settings after beating the main story. You can use either your own gear or one of the presets. You can compare your battle data—which includes information like battle time and how many times you executed perfect parries and dodges—with your friends.
Stellar Blade is a futuristic action-adventure game that focuses on EVE, who is fighting to save humanity from monstrous creatures. The game focuses on memorizing patterns and then counterattacking when you find an opening. You can read our review of the game here.
Stellar Blade is readily available on the PS5, and version 1.003 will come out on May 24, 2024.
