Hoping to snag a Black Friday PS5 for Xbox Series X this year? Maybe just looking for a discount on games for the system? Here’s a roundup of stores that will be selling the new consoles this weekend, as well as decent deals on those new releases!
All of these deals are available in the United States. If there’s a case in which a Black Friday PS5 or Xbox Series X sale price is available at two stores, both will be noted. For this list, we’re including all releases, rather than just ones we generally cover, since it’s the launch window. Most of these games are listed as PS4 or Xbox One games, but include free upgrades or Smart Delivery for the new consoles. Many of these deals are already live!
PS5 and Xbox Series X console availability
- Best Buy will be selling consoles online-only in “limited quantities.”
- GameStop will have limited stock available in-store. Stores open at 7 a.m.
- Walmart will be selling online-only at times posted on the site.

- Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection is $24.99 at Best Buy and $25 at Walmart, while the base game is $14.99 at GameStop.
- Watch Dogs Legion is $29.99 at Target and $30 at Walmart.
- A 12-month PlayStation Plus membership is $44.99 at GameStop.

- A 3-month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership is $19.99 at GameStop on Friday, and $22.49 / $22.88 at Best Buy and Walmart all weekend.
- Best Buy is offering 10 percent off Xbox credit.
