Ascension Materials you’ll need to gather for Guinaifen in Honkai: Star Rail
In total, you’ll need to obtain: 50 Searing Steel Blades, 12 Artifex’s Modules, 13 Artifex’s Cogwheels, 12 Artifex’s Gyrehearts, and 248400 Credits. You can get Artifex Ascension Materials from fighting Ingenium enemies. They’re available on both the Xianzhou Luofu and in the Simulated Universe. As for the Searing Steel Blades, they’re drops from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Scorch, which is in the Great Mine of Jarilo-VI.

To fully upgrade a Trace (barring her Basic Attack) for Guinaifen, you’ll need the following items:

- 3 Regrets of Infinite Ochema
- 1 Tracks of Destiny
- 522,000 Credits
You can get the Regret of Infinite Ochema to drop from the weekly Echo of War: Divine Seed. This boss is available on the Xianzhou Luofu and is the Phantylia boss fight from the story. The priority for Guinaifen should be her Skill and her Talent. You can level these up concurrently. Her bread and butter as a Nihility character is applying Burn and Firekiss to an enemy, and these two Traces will help her to accomplish that efficiently.
