Aurelien Regard, previously the designer of Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, will launch his vibrant overhead action-racer The Next Penelope on Steam Early Access on January 22nd.
Regard has released the video that you can watch above to provide an overview of the game. In brief, it’s set in a futuristic Greek Odyssey, and has you playing as Penelope as she searches the galaxy for Ulysses.
You can explore planets in any order, and each of them have unique, races, bosses, and new permanent abilities for your spaceship. It also has an energy system so that using the ship’s weapons is beneficial but comes at the heavy risk of pushing you close to death.
