Have A Look At This Virtual Reality Kaiju Simulator

Lee Vermeulen of Alientrap Games (creator of Apotheon) spent a night creating a prototype for a kaiju city destruction game for the virtual reality headset HTC Vive.

 

You can see the results in the video above. You play the towering kaiju from a first-person perspective and the game makes use of the HTC Vive’s space tracking capabilities so you can stomp around the city.

 

The kaiju also has a wrecking ball in its hand that you can swing around to take out the buildings and pound the ground.
