Hatsune Miku Gets An Awesome Transforming Mech Figurine

Hatsune Miku is getting a transforming figurine that can switch between a mecha Miku and car forms. The figurine is based on a concept illustration created by screenwriter and mech designer Shoji Kawamori in February 2014. Kawamori’s illustration gained popularity, and the Good Smile Company decided to turn his concept into an actual transforming figurine.

 

Kawamori’s illustration itself is based on Good Smile’s Hatsune Miku GT Project, which are actual race cars with a Hatsune Miku motif. They’ve won a few races, too.

 

The figurine, in robot form, stands at 275mm in height. It’s available for pre-order now, and you can check both the mech and car forms out in the photos below:
