The Funland Corporation is planning to tear down Leaf Valley and turn the town into an amusement park unless someone stops them! And how exactly do you do this? Why, by planting crops, mining ores, raising animals and helping the town prosper of course.

That’s the premise for Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley for PSP, which Natsume confirmed they will be bringing to North America in April this year, priced at $29.99. No date was specified, but Hiro Maekawa, president of Natsume, calls it "the biggest PSP Harvest Moon adventure yet!"

In case you’re curious, here’s how the DS, PSP and Wii tally up in terms of Harvest Moon games (puzzle and non-farming games not included). Do note that the "Year" column corresponds to Japan. Screenshots of Hero of Leaf Valley follow the table.

In case you’re wondering about the assets, the ones we received from Natsume were out of size and proportion. We’ve re-scaled them and adjusted the proportions, but would recommend waiting for better screens before judging the game.
