Harmonix Reboots PS2 Classic Amplitude For PS4 On January 5th

Harmonix has revealed that the PlayStation 4 reboot of its 2003 PlayStation 2 rhythm-action game Amplitude will be out on January 5th 2016 for $19.99.

 

However, if you backed the game on Kickstarter at $40 or higher, you’ll be able to play it two weeks early on December 23rd.

 

This reboot has new visuals and songs, a sci-fi narrative, competitive and cooperative local multiplayer modes, and leaderboards.

 

You can see the full 30-song soundtrack over on the announcement post – included are tracks by Minecraft composer C418, Super Meat Boy composer Danny Baranowsky, and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP composer Jim Guthrie.
