Katsuhiro Harada, Tekken series director and producer, often talks about it and fighting games on Twitter, and recently he had a comment about Tekken 7 Lucky Chloe usage over the last few years. In particular, he noted that she went from a character who was unpopular in North America to being used by players more often from there than in other regions over the last few years.
Here’s Harada’s specific statement, which was in response to a fan who said they would like to see Lucky Chloe in the next Tekken installment. Harada then went on to explain how North Americans have had a higher usage rate of Tekken 7’s Lucky Chloe “for the past three years.”

Lucky Chloe first made her debut in Tekken 7. Her fighting style is inspired by freestyle dance and Capoeira. When fans initially reacted negatively to her, Harada joked on Twitter that she would be exclusive to Europe and Japan.
Tekken 7 is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
