Harvest Moon (Story of Seasons) creator Yasuhiro Wada’s garden game Birthdays the Beginning is headed to Switch as Happy Birthdays. This week’s Famitsu shares what’s new in the upcoming version. [Thanks, Hachima.]
According to the magazine report, the port will add new functions that will help players play the game on Switch more comfortably, as well as a new “Star” item that lets you trade for useful items and skills.
What’s more exciting for the garden game on Switch is that it’ll add new creatures that weren’t in Birthdays the Beginning. The goal of the game is to create a world filled with all kinds of living creatures, and it’ll be your task to create these living creatures so you can capture them to your library collection. The game will have about 300 different types of creatures.
Happy Birthdays releases in Japan on March 29, 2018 for Nintendo Switch. It’ll go for 5,370 yen plus tax. Its development is currently 80% complete. Birthdays the Beginning is available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
