CyberConnect2 revealed more .hack merchandise, including Chim Chim plushies, to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of .hack//G.U. Last Recode and the 10th anniversary of .hack//Link. These items will be released on January 18, 2021, and they can also be ordered at CC2Store International. Pre-ordering any of the items by November 15, 2020, will come with a bonus pair of pins that will be randomly chosen between Tsukasa & Kite or Haseo & Tokio.
The original purple Chim Chim plush used to be sold in the past, but it is making its return together with four new color variations based on the .hack series protagonists Tsukasa, Kite, Haseo, and Tokio. Purchasing a single plush at 3,300 yen or a set of all 5 plushies at 16,500 yen will come with a fictional admission card to the in-game universe company CyberConnect Corporation. The card will include a serial code to access a sneak peek of the Japanese .hack//bullet novel e-book.
CyberConnect2 is also selling a miniaturized metal collectible item based on Gate of Uroboros, the weapon used by Haseo’s 5th Form in .hack//G.U. Vol. 4//Reconnection. The .hack//ARMS Gate of Uroboros is around 140mm wide and made of zinc alloy with black nickel plating. It is priced at 4,950 yen.
Finally, the .hack series developer also sells .hack//G.U. Last Recode Anthology Set at 3,520 yen. The set will consist of 4 items: a foldable eco bag, a clear file folder, a set of post-it notes, and a 40-page pamphlet containing illustrations from numerous artists and behind-the-scene talks about the development of the remaster.
.hack//Link was released on the PlayStation Portable exclusively in Japan in March 2010, while .hack//G.U. Last Recode was released worldwide for PlayStation 4 and PC in November 2017.
