Orangepixel has released its over-the-top, procedurally generated action platformer Gunslugs 2 on PC, iOS, and Android. If you’re a fan of ‘90s action games such as Metal Slug, it should have some appeal.
In this sequel, your mission is to take down the Black Duck Army as they want to dominate the world, you know, the usual evil intentions of a villain. This leads you across seven worlds with eight levels each, full of tanks, explosions, aliens, lightning guns, hell-worms, and more explosions.
Orangepixel describes Gunslugs 2 as having the action of the run-‘n’-gun games of the ‘90s (and some of their look) while including heroes of the ‘80s – you may half-recognize the names of the Gunslugs: B.A Barracuda, Sly Rocko, and Willis Kiyay.
