Gundam Extreme Vs Maxi Boost On - Gundam Bael

Bandai Namco has released a Starter Edition for Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs Maxi Boost ON digitally on Japanese and Asian PlayStation Stores. This new edition lets players access beginner-friendly parts of the game at a reduced price tag. The Starter Edition is priced at 3,300 yen (~$30). [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The Starter Edition still lets players access all 185 playable Mobile Suits included by default. However, only three gameplay modes are available here: Free Battle, Solo Branch Battle, and Online Casual Match. The in-game soundtrack only includes original music and theme songs from several non-anime Gundam titles, such as Crossbone Gundam and Gundam SEED Astray.

By default, the Starter Edition will only match online players against fellow players of the same version. However, there is a toggle on option available in the settings that will also let them fight against players who own the full version.

Players who begin with the Starter Edition can also upgrade to the full version at a slightly reduced price. Most of their save data will also carry over, although they will have to manually re-input  custom BGMs in the full game.
