Gundam Evolution to Shut Down in November

The shutdown was announced by Executive Producer Kazuya Maruyama, who said that it was “no longer possible for us to provide a service that satisfies our players.” There will also be a final Mission Briefing stream at 11pm PDT on July 21, 2023, over on the official youtube channel.

You can find the Twitter announcement below:

The game will cease sales of EVO coins and EC Pod Limited, as well as updates to EC, CAP and Ticket pods, on July 26, 2023. Already purchased currencies can still be spent, but refunds will not be issued for any leftovers. The developers have said they will increase the availability of Capital points through events and campaigns so that players can continue to unlock new mobile suits.

Season 6 is still scheduled for release on August 23, 2023, which will add a new unit and two maps. Another unit and map will arrive with the Season 7 update on October 25, 2023.

Previous updates to the game added the Gundam Dynames in April and the Heavyarms Custom EW back in March.

Gundam Evolution is immediately available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X/S, but will shut down on November 29, 2023.
