Bandai Namco has released Volume 2 of Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy. This is the second of three volumes the company plans to gradually add into the digital standalone single-player game. It adds a continuation to the story of Alma Stirner and Zeon’s Noisy Fairy squadron. In addition to that, Gundam: Code Fairy Volume 2 adds the Efreet Jaeger, a more advanced mobile suit developed from the MS-08TX Efreet.

Players can unlock exclusive mechs on the online game Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 by clearing Code Fairy story missions. Clearing the first five stages available at launch on Normal and Hard modes will unlock Helena’s Zaku II Sniper Type and Mia’s Zaku Half Cannon, respectively. In a similar fashion, the new second volume of Code Fairy lets players unlock Lilith’s Gundam Pixie by clearing stages 6-10 in Normal Mode and the Efreet Jaeger in Hard Mode.

Bandai Namco also lets Battle Operation 2 players unlock bonus missions in Code Fairy. As of this writing, players can unlock Code Fairy missions by completing the Base Camp tutorial, collecting 20 Mobile Suits, and participating in 10 Basic and 5 Ace matches in the online game. Players who obtain a premium gold medal and a Ground rating rank of C- can unlock more missions when the third volume releases in December 2021.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy is immediately available worldwide on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Bandai Namco will release the third and final volume of the game on December 3, 2021.
