Guilty Gear Strive will soon get its Another Story DLC. Arc System Works confirmed that the expansion, which brings new narrative content, debuts on April 29, 2022.
The expansion will add a new story experience. It will feature a “full look behind the curtain” of the main narrative. Many characters that didn’t show up in the base game’s story mode, like Ramlethal, May, and DLC characters like Baiken, will appear in Guilty Gear Strive Another Story. Upon release, the expansion DLC will be available to all Season Pass 1 holders. It will not be sold separately, meaning players that are interested will have to pick up Season Pass 1 to access it.
Arc System Works also uploaded a set of screenshots taken from the DLC. The shots feature Ramlethal, May, Faust, and Baiken.
Guilty Gear Strive Another Story takes place at the same time as the main story, during the incident in America triggered by the surrender of Asuka R. Kreutz. As it unfolds, Ramlethal responds to an emergency summons on the outskirts of Illyria. She encounters a new character named Delilah. Delilah is a girl awoken from a long slumber. She bears a connection to Bedman, a character from Guilty Gear Xrd Sign. Delilah is also described as having lived within a waking dream since her birth, due to a unique condition caused by her brain’s inability to withstand her exceptional intellect and abilities. Her goal? Revenge for the death of her brother.
Guilty Gear Strive is available on PS4, PS5, and PC. Its Another Story DLC goes live on April 29, 2022 for Season Pass 1 holders. Season Pass 2 is due out later in 2022.
