The fifth volume focuses on Murasaki. Her more sociable elder sister Yuuki returns to Japan and immediately befriends everyone else in Class A, causing Murasaki to question her purpose for being. Lines for almost all characters—except the protagonist—are fully voiced in this visual novel.

The Switch version will have more features implemented. Other than an Auto Mode, there is also a feature that prevents automatic sleep while playing movies. You will also be able to jump to a specific message selected from the backlog.

At this rate, it is just a matter of time until all existing Grisaia Phantom Trigger volumes are available on the Switch. Volumes 1 and 2 were first released simultaneously in June 2020. The third volume followed in July, and the fourth was recently released on September 17, 2020. All volumes released on Switch so far also supported English and Chinese subtitles. The remaining ones still yet to have a Switch port announced are volumes 5.5, 6, and 7—the latest one released on PCs (and is also available on Steam with English subtitles) on July 22, 2020.

Grisaia Phantom Trigger Vol. 5 will be released on the Nintendo Switch on November 19, 2020. It is also immediately available worldwide on PCs via Steam. Note that the above screenshot is taken from the PC version.
