Grave Chase follows a pair of teenage graverobbers who are out to stop a dangerous groundskeeper who’s been killing people to ensure the graveyard stays full. To do so, they’ll need to dig up body parts to form their own monsters to fight the deadly caretaker, but without getting caught.
Players will work their way across thirty-one stages of body part harvesting, using their shovels to smack mummies, ghouls, and skeletons who try to get in their way. The caretaker won’t go down from a wallop on the head from a shovel, though, so players will have to keep moving to stay away from them. Making contact with the Groundskeeper will quickly have the teenagers joining the other bodies.
Should they find a moment’s peace, they’ll be able to dig up a plot of land, looking for monster body parts that they’ll be able to cobble together into vicious beasts that will help them defeat the caretaker. These creatures will be made up of whatever parts the player manages to dig up, resulting in some ridiculous heroes to use against the murdering caretaker.
Grave Chase is available now on Steam.
