Grappling & Power Sliding Make Introspect’s Giant Bosses Easier To Overcome

Mobility is key to surviving the lethal encounters with Introspect’s giant machine bosses, with players able to power slide, high jump, or grapple onto nearby platforms to get out of harm’s way.

These colossal robots litter a post-apocalyptic world, and they’re far from friendly to anything that wanders near. As they have to be purged for life to rebuild, players must take them on, using their mobility to avoid attacks of devastating power. Power sliding will give them a speed boost to avoid imminent attacks, high jumping will allow them to leap over incoming beam weapons, and their grappling abilities will get them to high ground for a better position to fire back on the robot (or just give themselves a moment to breathe).

Each of the machine bosses has a weak point that will appear as the player survives long enough or causes enough trouble for the boss. Capitalizing on these weaknesses will let players fire back with their attack drone, and should they finally topple the machine, they’ll get new drones with different attack types that will let them vary their play style.

A Kickstarter campaign is currently underway to fund Introspect’s projected 2019 release, with a demo available from the campaign page.
