Last we heard, Grand Knights History was nearly at the 95,000 copies sold mark in Japan. Producer, Yoshifumi Hashimoto, updated the game’s blog today, revealing that the game has cleared the 110,000 mark, thanks to continued demand.
We assume Hashimoto is referring to the number of copies shipped to Japanese retailers, as opposed to the number of copies actually sold. Regardless, Grand Knights History has performed well relative to Marvelous’ expectations of it.
Xseed and Rising Star games will publish Grand Knights History in the U.S. and Europe. The localized version of the game will retain its online battles feature. Online battles are a feature that Vanillaware and Marvelous worked hard to include, and are the reason the game has three factions instead of two.
