Cygames and Arc System Works shared the 17th character trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus featuring the upcoming DLC fighter Djeeta.
The trailer shows moves from Granblue Fantasy‘s female player avatar. She has similar moves as Gran, the male player avatar of Granblue Fantasy, but she has plenty of her own moves. This includes her Super Skybound Art that brings out her 10 Revenant Weapons, a reference to the Conqueror of the Eternals skin in Granblue Fantasy that is a testament to her years of grinding for materials to recruit all 10 Eternals.
Djeeta will join Granblue Fantasy Versus on April 7, 2020 as part of its Season 1 DLC. The first two Season 1 characters in Beelzebub and Narmaya are currently available in the game. Soriz will also join the mix on the same day as Djeeta. Season 2 has already been confirmed, but so far we only know that Belial will be one of its additions.
Granblue Fantasy Versus is available worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam. The game recently reached 200,000 in shipments and digital sales in Japan. For those of you curious about the game but aren’t into fighters, it has an RPG Mode with plenty of features from Granblue Fantasy. You can read more about it in our recent playtest.
