The Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising beta will include 25 characters. PS4 and PS5 owners can register for the pre-access one starting on July 6, 2023. That will then take place on July 27, 2023 for those who can participate. We’ll see the open beta on July 29-30, 2023. There will also be an Evo open beta tournament. People can register for that until August 3, 2023, and the matches will take place August 4-5, 2023.

There’s an initial character teaser trailer showing how both Nier and Death will look in Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising. However, at the moment Arc System Works and Cygames only shared it via Twitter. It is brief and shows Nier being held by Death. She says, “You don’t understand me either? Then… goodbye.”

Cygames also offered some details about how Nier works in Granblue Fantasy Versus. It also confirmed her voice actresses are Noriko Shitaya and Jenny Yokobori.
