Chaos Bringer is a boss character in Granblue Fantasy Versus, and will be made playable through DLC. He’s one of the Astrals who invaded the Sky Realm thousands of years ago. While he was sealed in Pandemonium for a while, the fallen angel Belial released him from his forced slumber. He wields a substance known as “Chaos Matter” that is said to be capable of slaying even the immortals. By his side is Avatar, a twisted Primal Beast created by the melded cores of the original Primal Beasts. His objective is to stand above all in creation, from Sky Realm to Astral Realm.

Chaos Bringer/Beelzebub can be unlocked in Granblue Fantasy Versus via DLC purchase or by completing RPG Mode.

In case you missed it, the game reached 150,000 units in shipments and digital sales in Japan and Asia. For what it’s worth, we haven’t seen fighting games reach those numbers in Japan since the Street Fighter IV days, so Granblue Fantasy fans certainly showed some solid support for the release.

Granblue Fantasy is now available for PlayStation 4 in Japan. The game will release in North America on March 3, 2020.
