A special Neon Genesis Evangelion Nanoblock Unit-02 is available to purchase. Like many recently released Evangelion goods and merchandise, this special Nanoblock Unit-02 was released to commemorate the upcoming release of Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0. Once assembled, Neon Genesis Evangelion Nanoblock Unit-02’s limbs can be positioned to create more dynamic poses. No weapons are included with this Nanoblock kit. Fans will need to get creative with other kits if they want to add accessories to the Unit-02.

Neon Genesis Evangelion originally began its run in Japan in October 1995. Evangelion: Death (True)2, the edit of 1997’s Neon Genesis Evangelion: Death & Rebirth, appeared in 1998. The End of Evangelion appeared in 1997. The Rebuild of Evangelion films, which offer a different take on the story, began airing in Japan in 2007 with Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) AloneEvangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo appeared in 2009 and 2012.

Neon Genesis Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 currently has no release date and has been delayed multiple times. It originally had a 2016 release window. A new scheduled release date has not yet been announced.
