Google Put Pokémon Inside Google Maps For April Fools’

Luckily, Google have enough honour to actually deliver with their April Fools’ joke. They’re collaborating with The Pokémon Company to bring Pokémon into Google Maps.

The catch is, while the prank video (above) makes it all look like a giant joke, there actually are Pokémon sprites to be found in Google Maps today. If you access the Google Maps app on your iOS or Android device, you’ll find Pokémon that you can catch. Just don’t expect it to look as grand as it does in the video.
