As many folks in Japan are enjoying time off for the Golden Week holiday, PlayStation owners worldwide can take advantage of the raftload of sales storefronts kick off to commemorate the period. 2021’s Golden Week PSN Sale puts up multiple major Japanese titles for considerable discount.
Leading the pack in the Golden Week PSN Sale are large cuts to the price of two games that could easily take up the holiday alone: Kingdom Hearts and Persona 5 Royal. The Kingdom Hearts All-In-One Package unites Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III into a single bundle containing nearly two decades worth of game releases. That said, in 2021 the package isn’t quite so “all-in-one.” The Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind expansion and rhythm game spin-off Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory are not included in the purchase, though they are discounted separately. Meanwhile Persona 5 Royal, the definitive edition of the 2017 JRPG hit, lops half off the price of both its regular and DLC-packed Ultimate Edition.
