Atari sent over an e-mail to let us know Godzilla Unleashed is going multiplatform. Besides the Wii and DS games a Playstation 2 version is in development, which will come out this fall. If you’re a mega Godzilla fan take note that the PS2 release has exclusive monsters.

A PS2 port is a no brainier since the PS2 has a huge install base and Sony is still selling consoles. But look how many games are flip flopping between the PS2 and the Wii. There have been a slew of PS2 to Wii ports: Harvey Birdman, Prince of Persia and all those budget games from Conspiracy Entertainment. We’re just beginning to see Wii to PS2 ports starting with Boogie and Godzilla. If the trend continues the PS2 may be around longer than 2008!
