God Eater 2 Brings Back God Eater Burst Characters With A New DLC Side Story

Bandai Namco recently released their 1.40 patch for God Eater 2 that brings online multiplayer to the game. Additionally, they announced a DLC side story that will have minor characters from the first God Eater game take center stage. Game-Jouhou shares more details and a trailer.

 

Dr. Sakaki seems to have noticed a group of Aragami and calls upon specific characters with the knowhow on taking them out. The members are familiar faces seen in the first game as minor characters, except this time, they’ll be more involved in the even that takes place three years later.

From left to right, we have: Karel Schneider, Gina Dickinson, Tatsumi O’Mori, Brendan Bardell, and Shun ogawa, who’ve been given the task to take out an irregular gathering of the Aragami. They will have their own growth charts as you take on various missions as part of the story.

 

god-eater-2-boueihan-no-kikan_140526-2-335x300Joining them are the two new operators Teruomi Wakabe and Urara Hoshino. Additionally, a special someone will appear as a guest operator upon completing the episodes of the side story.

 

The introduced characters and operators will also be available to use on God Eater 2’s multiplayer mode.

 

God Eater 2’s Another Episode: Return of the Defense Force side story DLC will launch on June 5, 2014 for 1,000 yen ($10) for PlayStation Vita and PSP.
