Aniplex and CyberConnect 2 have shared another video of their upcoming game Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan, this time featuring Giyu Tomioka in the game’s Versus Mode. This is the third character introduction video, following last week’s video introducing Inosuke and Zenitsu. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The video showcases the Water Hashira’s moves and special abilities, including his signature move Dead Calm as a finisher. He also uses Constant Flux — one of the most powerful Water Breathing techniques — as a basic attack. Compared to other characters, Giyu’s move sets are quick and precise; reflecting the character’s calm and collected demeanor.

As with all of the character introduction videos for Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan released officially, Giyu’s introduction video is currently unavailable outside of Japan. However, STORM MASTER on YouTube has shared footage:

Giyu is the last playable character confirmed after the game’s initial showcase at the second year anniversary event of Demon Slayer. There are currently a total of five playable characters in Versus Mode, including Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke. Whether more characters will be added later down the line is currently unconfirmed.

Here are some screenshots of gameplay footage and official artwork from Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan.

Demon Slayer: Hinokami Kepputan will be available for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC. It is being developed by CyberConnect2, the studio behind the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja games. An official release date has yet to be announced.
