On October 15, 2016, Yo-kai Watch: The Movie will be shown at 11am (local time) in select theaters across the United States. An opportunity to see the movie for free has appeared ahead of the event. To take advantage of the offer, someone must visit a GameStop store and spend $10 or more on Yo-kai Watch merchandise. This should apply to medals, toys, and even a copy of Yo-kai Watch 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. A code will be printed on your receipt. You then enter that code at Fandango when buying a ticket to get in for free.

The events of Yo-kai Watch: The Movie have quite a bit in common with the Yo-kai Watch 2 Nintendo 3DS games. Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan travel back in time to team up with Nate’s grandfather and Hovernyan to face a new menace to both humans and Yo-kai.
