The May 14, 2020 Ghost of Tsushima State of Play has come and gone, and it did exactly as Sony promised. People were able to see almost 20 minutes of Ghost of Tsushima gameplay footage from the game where players follow a samurai dealing with a Mongol invasion. People have an opportunity to get a better look at Jin Sakai and his skills, the sorts of enemies he’ll face, what combat will look like, how he can be customized, and the island of Tsushima itself.

Here’s the full State of Play looking at all of the new Ghost of Tsushima gameplay footage. It begins by showing exploration and how people will use the wind and visual cues to find things around Tsushima. From there, it moves on to focus on Jin, combat, and other elements. For example, it even shows how you can play as an honorable samurai or a ghost willing to use any trick to win.

For those who want to see even more of Jin, Sony and Sucker Punch recently prepared a story trailer for Japan that gives people a chance to hear the game’s Japanese voice acting

Ghost of Tsushima will come to the PlayStation 4 on July 17, 2020, after experiencing a slight delay that pushed it out of June 2020. Special and Collector’s Editions will be available, with the latter even including a replica of the Sakai mask, a cloth map of the island, an art book, and furoshiki wrapping cloth. There is also a digital deluxe edition that includes extra DLC to help change Jin’s appearance and make him a little more formidable, thanks to an extra technique point and charm of Hachiman’s favor.
