Doujin circle Neetpia released their tower defense title Gensokyo Defenders on the PlayStation 4 and Switch last year, and the game is headed to PC via Steam, as shown via the ‘Upcoming Games’ section.
For those unfamiliar with the doujin game, you take control of 30 different voiced Touhou Project characters in a top-down twin-stick shooter that has tower defense mechanics as well. Each character has their own abilities that bring to mind their abilities from the original Touhou games. You can read more in our previous playtest here.
Aside from Gensokyo Defenders, the game is also getting DLC titled Gensokyo Defenders Plus. The DLC adds three new characters – Yukari Yakumo, Toyosatomimi no Miko and Byakuren Hijiri. New content and bonus stages will become available after beating Cirno’s story.

Gensokyo Defenders is available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and is coming to PC via Steam on April 24, 2019 with the Gensokyo Defenders Plus DLC.
