This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

It turns out existing characters aren’t the only people featured in Genshin Impact’s Unreconciled Stars event. New ones are too. Two playable characters appears as NPCs who help the Traveler and Paimon in an investigation involving meteorites that put people to sleep, Fischl and Mona. But it turns out this event is also an excuse to introduce Genshin Impact’s Scaramouche too.

Editor’s Note: There will be Genshin Impact spoilers for Unreconciled Stars in this news story.

Genshin Impact’s Scaramouche actually debuted a few days ago, back on November 18, 2020. He was a part of the Star of Deceitful Dreams storyline quest The Crisis Deepens. At the time, his name wasn’t revealed. He only mentioned he was investigating the same sleeping sickness and meteors and came from Inazuma. His Japanese voice actor, Tetsuya Kakihara, was revealed on miHoYo’s Twitter account. (Kakihara also plays Natsu Dragneel in Fairy Tail, Jin Kisaragi in the BlazBlue series, and Lloyd Bannings in The Legend of Heroes: Trails series.

Now that the third part of Unreconciled Stars is available, Scaramouche returned in the Star of Destiny questline. Upon reuniting with the Traveler and Paimon again, we learn that he is the Sixth member of the Fatui’s Harbingers. (He’s also known as “Balladeer.”) There is also a side quest involving Viktor, the Fatui member in Mondstadt’s church, called Equivalent Exchange that provides an opportunity to learn more about him. (This mission also provides a few details about Signora, the eighth Harbinger.)

As Inazuma is not yet in Genshin Impact, it might be a while before we learn more about Scaramouche and find out if he might become playable like Tartaglia. At the moment, only Mondstadt and Liyue are in the game.
