Yoimiya Character Demo Video Genshin Impact

Ahead of Yoimiya appearing through an upcoming banner in Genshin Impact, miHoYo has released a character demo video for the quirky pyrotechnician. This new character demonstration features a variety of effects, which helps punctuate Yoimiya’s overall attitude. Additionally, it showcases how fireworks will be incorporated into the attack effects for Yoimiya, as this is an integral part of her character.

The video begins with a quick demonstration of Yoimiya’s basic attacks. The character will perform a variety of acrobatics while firing her bow. After that, the fireworks begin as Yoimiya fires off a series of fireworks that accompany this acrobatic display. Additionally, a charge-up skill appears in the character demonstration video. This series of three fireworks home onto Yoimiya’s target. And lastly, the video shows off Yoimiya’s signature skill. She fires off a massive burst of fire which explodes once it hits the enemy. Sayu also appears in the trailer, fighting alongside the technician.

As mentioned previously, miHoYo has revealed when Yoimiya will appear in Genshin Impact. Players will be able to obtain Yoimiya and Sayu through a limited time banner starting on August 10, 2021. This coincides with the release of an event. The banner will run until August 31, 2021.

Genshin Impact is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is also in development.
