A “Customer Satisfaction Survey” is now available on the official website for MiHoYo’s popular free-to-play title, Genshin Impact. A tweet posted to the game’s official Twitter account says, “Please fill it in, it will help Paimon create a friendly and harmonious community environment where everyone.”
The survey asks questions about a range of topics including demographics, play habits, and satisfaction. After demographic information, there are a few questions about the game’s Facebook fan page, which gathers information about what player think of its content and what they’d like to see more of in the future. Options include fan-made art, official art, community event information, and videos of strategies and tutorials. The survey then moves on to questions about specifics pertaining to the game itself.
In particular, the survey gathers information about the Fatui character, Childe Tartaglia. What is your opinion on the character? You can rate him from one to five, one being “I strongly dislike him” and five being “I like him a lot.” Ensuing questions hone in on his traits. Selectable reasons for enjoying the character include “voice artist,” “he is a 5-star character,” and various other choices about his mechanics, personality, and presence in the game’s story. There are also questions about issues players might have about him. Text fields enable survey takers to elaborate on their opinions.
Additionally, the survey covers recent in-game events. Specifically, it asks about the “Stone Harbor Journal” and “Adventurers, Assemble!” events. People can then opt into receiving further communication regarding the survey which requires them to leave their phone number or email. Consent for this can be revoked by calling customer service.
Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and on Android and Apple iOS platforms. There is a Nintendo Switch version on the way as well. The game recently set a record, making more digital money than all other contenders in October.
