Genshin Impact Packs Lunches and Merch for Amber AR Contest Winners

Genshin Impact Amber AR Event

If you’re playing Genshin Impact and haven’t logged in lately, consider doing so soon: Amber’s got a present for you! MiHoYo has announced the winners of the Genshin Impact Amber AR Event, and in addition to physical prizes for the winners, every player gets a handful of in-game goodies to use as they see fit.

The winners were announced via a post on the official blog, as well as via tweet from Paimon:

The Genshin Impact Amber AR Event was a photography contest run to celebrate Genshin Impact‘s first month in operation. It invited players to scan a special QR code located at physical locations around the world. Scanning the code with their smartphone’s rear camera would cause Amber, Outrider of the Knights of Favonius, and longtime Genshin Impact poster girl (Paimon is the “poster meal”) to appear and give participants a puzzle piece. The puzzle piece would be the first clue to solve a puzzle on Instagram. Amber AR Event participants who solved the puzzle and shared their photos of Amber on social media would then be entered into a sweepstake for an Amber-themed merchandise set.

The Amber AR event merchandise set included a pillow, an acrylic figure, a button, and a sticker, all decorated with Amber:

Of course, only 50 lucky Travelers could score some Outrider goods, so for everyone else, the Genshin Impact Amber AR event yielded a small but potentially meaningful cache of items:

  • 10 Apples
  • 10 Steaks
  • 5 Pile ‘Em Ups
  • 5 Fisherman’s Toast
  • 10 Adventurer’s Experience
  • 10 Fine Enhancement Ore

At this time, the items should be available to anyone over Adventurer Rank 3 who logs in before November 13, 2020.

Genshin Impact is immediately available on PC, Android, iOS, and PS4. The game will be updated to version 1.1 on November 11, 2020, bringing new systems, characters, missions, balance updates, and enhancements for PS5.
