New Genshin Impact potential earnings figures are in. Now that the game is a month old, Sensor Tower shared estimated numbers from the Android and Apple iOS iterations. According to data collected, the Genshin Impact mobile versions alone made about $245 million in the 30 days since its September 28, 2020 launch.

Context is important for the details. The $245 in income would only have come from in-game purchases, such as money spent to pull on the Wishes banners to get new characters and weapons. The estimated figure only took into account the Genshin Impact mobile versions of the game, and not the also available PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

Sensor Tower’s data also looked at which countries had contributed the most money and which mobile version was the greater earner. According to the information, Chinese users accounted for about $82 million, people in Japan about $59 million, and those in the United States about $45 million. Slightly more money came in for the Genshin Impact iOS version, with the gathered information suggesting about $144 million came from there and $101 million from Android users.

This is the second recent update going over about how much money Genshin Impact has made in the month since it was released. Back on October 10, 2020, Niko Partners Senior Analyst Daniel “ZhugeEX” Ahmad pointed out earnings passed the $100 million mark.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is also in the works.
