Both Itto and Gorou are both headed to Genshin Impact in the same banner. During the 2.3 version stream, miHoYo announced the two would appear on a wish during the second half of the update. It also showed both off and offered details about them. For example, the Genshin Impact Itto and Gorou voice actors were revealed, Itto will get a Story Quest, and Gorou will get a Hangout Event.
First, Itto and Gorou will be on the same Genshin Impact banner. This one will appear halfway through the 2.3 update. Itto will be a five-star claymore user and is a Geo character. Gorou is also a Geo type, but he’s a four-star archer.
The Itto voice actors in Genshin Impact should sound familiar. In English, he’s voiced by Max Mittelman. He might be best known as Ryuji Sakamoto in Persona 5 games. However, he also played Red XIII in FFVII Remake, Saitama in One Punch Man anime and game adaptations, Shigure in Tales of Berseria, and Sabito in Demon Slayer. His Japanese voice actor is Takanori Nishikawa, who is best known as the singer T.M. Revolution.
Meanwhile, Gorou’s Genshin Impact voice actors are Cory Yee and Tasuku Hatanaka. Yee played Seishu Inui in Tokyo Revengers and Hermes in Record of Ragnarok. Meanwhile, Hatanaka is the Japanese voice of Yozora in the Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC, is Denki Kaminari in My Hero Academia, and is Yuma Tsukumo in Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal.
As for the Itto Story Quest in Genshin Impact, it is Taurus Iracundus Chapter: Act 1. As usual, it will require 1 Story Key to unlock. It will give people a chance to interact with Itto and sample using the character during the mission. The Gorou Genshin Impact Hangout Event will be The Canine General’s Special Operations: Act 1. It will require 2 Story Keys to unlock. In it, people make choices while spending time with Gorou to earn different CGs. The other special quest added in Shadows Amidst Snowstorms will add a Beidou Hangout Event.
Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and Android and Apple iOS devices. It will also head to the Nintendo Switch. Version 2.3 will appear on November 24, 2021. The Genshin Impact Itto and Gorou banner will appear after the Albedo and Eula ones in 2.3.
