Two new Fontaine characters, Neuvilette and Wriothesley, will make their playable debuts in Genshin Impact Version 4.1. Venti and Hu Tao will also return to the gacha. Venti will be in Phase 1 with Neuvilette. Meanwhile, Hu Tao will be in Phase 2 with Wriothesley.
Neuvilette has been a prominent character in the Fontaine Archon Quest as the Iudex of the nation. When he becomes playable, he’ll be a 5-star Hydro Catalyst user, with his signature weapon appearing in the Event Wish as well. In English, Ray Chase voices him and in Japanese, Hiroshi Kamiya voices him. Ray Chase previously voiced Bruno Bucciarati in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Noctis in Final Fantasy XV, and Alphen in Tales of Arise. Kamiya’s roles include Tieria in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Trafalgar Law in One Piece, and Saiki in The Disastrous Life of Saiki Kusuo.
Meanwhile, though Wriothesley was in the trailer for Fontaine, he’s not made an official appearance in the story yet. He will be a 5-star Cryo character and, like Neuvilette, will use a Catalyst. In English, Joe Zieja voices him and in Japanese, Daisuke Ono voices him. Zieja previously voiced Claude in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Kusuke in The Disastrous Life of Saiki Kusuo, and Vholran in Tales of Arise. Meanwhile, Ono was Erwin in Attack on Titan, Jotaro in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail.
Genshin Impact is readily available on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices. Version 4.1 of Genshin Impact should come out on September 27, 2023. Neuvilette’s banner will be in the first phase of Genshin Impact and Wriothesley will be in the second.
