GameStop Says More SNES Classic Editions Will Be Stocked “Very Soon”

The SNES Classic Edition released only days ago, but GameStop recently announced in a press release that their supply of the mini console disappeared within minutes. However, those still wanting to get their hands on the system need not despair so fast. GameStop Senior Vice President of Merchandising Bob Puzon has assured consumers that more supply of the SNES Classic Edition will be coming “very soon.”

Here are Puzon’s full comments:

“Nintendo has done it again! Customer demand for the SNES Classic was just like we expected. We sold out of our SNES Classic inventory within minutes in both our GameStop and ThinkGeek retail channels.

But customers shouldn’t worry. We’re getting more very soon. Once we do, our customers will be the first to know!”

The SNES Classic Edition features 21 pre-installed games including Super Metroid, Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, Final Fantasy VI, Secret of Mana, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and many more.
