A Pokemon Sword and Shield distribution event that previously appeared in Europe is about to held in the United States. Starting on August 14, 2020, people will be able to take part in a GameStop Copperajah event. If you stop by, you can get an item to participate in a Gigantamax Copperajah Max Raid. Here’s how the event will work. You’ll have to have Pokemon Pass on your smartphone and stop by a GameStop store. While there, you’ll see a code to scan for an Sgr6879 Dynamax Crystal Mystery Gift. You can then get this item in your copy of Pokemon Sword and Shield to challenge the Gigantamax Copperajah raid.

Since this is based on the Dynamax Crystal event that appeared in stores like Game Mania in June 2020, it should work in a similar way. Once you have everything set, you will probably see the Max Raid at the Watchtower Ruins Wild Area den. The Gigantamax Copperajah you face should have the Heavy Metal hidden ability, Attack, HP, and Special Attack max IVs, and be a three-star fight.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch. Pokemon Pass is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The GameStop Copperajah event will run from August 14-31, 2020. Also, in-game there’s currently a Gigantamax Drednaw and Sandaconda raid event running.
