Another wave of Game Awards 2020 presenters have been announced for this year’s show. Tweets posted to the official Twitter account for the awards show indicate that the show will feature presenters from a diverse range of fields. Additionally, it was revealed that Sydnee Goodman would be hosting a live pre-show on the day of the event. Sydnee Goodman is known for her work as a host and producer at IGN.
The most recent announcements include people like Reggie Fils-Aime, John David Washington, Stephen A. Smith, and Nolan North. All of these people have had experience on camera and with audiences in the past. Fils-Aime is the well-known former President of COO where he frequently served as a presenter for various events. Stephen A. Smith is a sports journalist and broadcaster, appearing in places like SportsCenter and ESPN’s First Take to provide commentary and analysis. The other two are actors. John David Washing recently starred in the Christopher Nolan film, Tenet, and Nolan North is primarily known for his work as a voice actor. He has provided the voices for a variety of characters, including Nathan Drake from the Uncharted franchise.
These presenters will be joining others who had already been announced, including Wonder Woman star, Gal Gadot, Captain Marvel star, Brie Larson, the mumbling Swedish Chef from The Muppets, and popular video game voice actor, Troy Baker. Baker has worked on games like The Last of Us, Death Stranding, and Persona 4, in the past. He is also an occasional guest on Nolan North’s YouTube channel, Retro Replay.
The Game Awards will air on December 10, 2020. Voting for the Player’s Voice Award is still open for people who want to cast their votes for the show’s nominees.
