Developer Without A Crew St. is creating a third-person, competitive multiplayer action game called Codename Ronin for PC.
It’s set in a future in which corporations hold all the power, and compete with one another to gain further control, and it’s in this pursuit that Codename Ronin was born.
The “Ronin” in the game’s title stands for Robotic Neural Intelligence Nodes. They’re huge advancements in cybernetics that allow anyone with a brain to control a cyborg shell, thus giving birth to a new, more dangerous breed of super soldiers.
This is the basis for the game’s online deathmatch between these sword-wielding robots. The developer’s hope is to have 16 players in each match, for the robots to have smooth parkour movement, and is also considering co-op survival modes.
You can find updates on the game over on its website as well as on IndieDB.
