Harmonix’s next music game will definitely appear this year. The Fuser release date is now November 10, 2020. Unfortunately, the announcement wasn’t accompanied by an additional song reveal, but at least people now know when they’ll be able to find the Dropmix successor on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

As a reminder, Fuser isn’t a traditional Harmonix rhythm game. Rather, it’s one along the lines of Dropmix where you create mixes and attempt to control the remix by combining elements from different songs to the track. These songs are represented by discs (which are essentially cards.) You apply to your virtual DJ table, adding vocals, a beat, and musical parts. Your goal is to create a mix that earns points and meets the crowd’s desires or defeats an opponent. Especially since the crowd might request you play certain parts from different songs like Billy Eilish’s “Bad Guy”, a-ha’s “Take on Me,” or LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem.”

The Fuser release date is November 10, 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. As a reminder, there are some pre-order incentives available. Those who order it ahead of launch will get “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers,” New Rules” by Dua Lipa, and “Young, Dumb, and Broke” by Khalid.
