As part of Pokemon Day 2020, a whole new Pokemon will be shown to the world. This is going to be a new mythical creature. While CoroCoro magazine in Japan had the honor of being the place with the first look at the character and even teased part of it in a livestream, its full silhouette has been shared on the official Pokemon website.
Here’s the full look at the character. While it is a mystery, there are some elements that could hint at its inspirations. It has feet that seem as though they could be prehensile, judging by the way the toes are arranged. It also has a long tail.
This new Pokemon will make its debut in Pokemon the Movie: Coco. Its first trailer suggests Ash and Pikachu will find themselves in a tropical, forested locale. While the movie will come out in Japan on July 10, 2020, this mythical creature will be completely revealed on February 27, 2020.
In the meantime, people with Pokemon Sword and Shield can enjoy a little something new. Gigantimax Toxtricity Max Raids are being held in the game, giving people a chance to get a different version of the critter.
Pokemon Sword and Shield are available for the Nintendo Switch.
