By Square Enix’s Mechwarrior style Front Mission game is slated for a worldwide release in spring 2010. Players can pilot Wanzers, mecha in the world of Front Mission, and assault them on foot.

Japanese blog Hachimaki points out Front Mission: Evolved’s man vs. mecha scenes are reminiscent of Mobile Suit Gundam: Operation Troy. Interesting observation. The interface looks similar too, but since Operation Troy was only released in Japan these sections will be new for us.
