Sega announced that there is a way to get a free piece of Sonic x Shadow Generations DLC, and it is tied to the official newsletter. People can make sonic look like he did in the Sega Saturn game Sonic Jam if they sign up for the free email mailing list by November 1, 2024.
Here’s the official announcement. It showed how the skin will look on Sonic in-game. It also offered instructions on how to get the Sonic Jam Legacy Skin in Sonic x Shadow Generations. You go to the official site, then enter your ate of birth, region, email, name, and platform you’ll be playing the game on. This must be done even if you already signed up for the newsletter before, to ensure you get the proper code.
Sega didn’t note when the DLC code for the Sonic Jam skin will be emailed out to Sonic x Shadow Generations owners. It only said that it will happen after the game’s launch on October 25, 2024. Since the cut-off date is November 1, 2024 to register, the distribution could also happen around that window.
Sonic X Shadow Generations will release on October 25, 2024 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. People have until November 1, 2024 to sign up for Sega’s newsletter and be guaranteed they’ll get the free Sonic Jam skin for the game.
